UPS/Stub Hub UK - lost tickets - STUBHUB, UPS

Sale online went well. Tickets posted - all ok.
BUT, even when posting tickets correctly, carrier UPS managed to 'loose' the tickets and 6 days after they were received in their depot, they are apparently still there!
Buyer is obviously very annoyed and disappointed - S/H have given him refund - why not some replacement tickets?
UPS don't seem bothered - not impressed with either company.

Regarding order for Arctic Monkeys ticket 24th May 2014. UPS lost the ticket, whilst I accept you found a replacement it was less than convenient for my niece to collect the ticket from Gt Portland St, also I spend over an hour on the phone to yourselves arranging the replacement. UPS called me today to see if the ticket had arrived, it has not. I explained I wanted to make a claim for the extra inconvenience, with the usual UPS customer service I was told to contact yourselves which is what I am doing, my email address is sallybeningfield482@btinternet.com.

We're very sorry to hear of the troubles with this order. Rest assured we have worked with UPS to ensure this does not happen again as we want our buyers to receive the tickets they pay for and want to make sure our sellers get paid!

It's likely that we provided the buyer a refund instead of replacement tickets because either the event was too close to get tickets to the buyer in time, or there were no longer tickets available. As our FanProtect Guarantee states, "if, prior to the event, the tickets you received are not the same or better than the ones you ordered, give StubHub a call at 1.866.STUBHUB (1.866.788.2482) right away. If StubHub determines that you did not receive tickets that are the same or better than the ones you ordered, StubHub will either (in StubHub's sole discretion): (i) provide you with replacement tickets that are comparable or better than the tickets you ordered; or (ii) StubHub will issue you a refund for the cost of the tickets, including service fees and shipping and handling charges."
